  18. Make ready Curry leaves few
  19. Get 1 inch Cinnamon
  20. Prepare 2 nos Cloves
  21. Take 1 nos Cardamom
  22. Prepare 1 Nutmeg small
  23. Take 1/4 tsp Peppercorn
  24. Get 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds
  25. Make ready 1 tbsp Coconut oil
  26. Make ready 2 tbsps Coconut oil
  27. Get 4 nos Shallots chopped
  28. Prepare 1 inch Chopped ginger
  29. Make ready 3 nos Green chilli slitted
  30. Get Curry leaves
Steps to make Thaninadan Pork Curry:
  1. Wash and clean the pork. Dry roast all the spice powders(red chili,coriander, turmeric, pepper) in low medium flame until the raw smell goes. Add this to the pork along with onion, tomato, green chilies, crushed ginger,crushed shallots, curry leaves,vinegar and salt. Mix well and pressure cook till pork is almost done.
  2. Peel the skin of the yam and cut into cubes (same as the size of pork). Wash thoroughly and add this to the pork and pressure cook for one whistle.
  3. In a pan add 1 tbsp of oil and roast all the ingredients mentioned in the roast & grind coloum. Roast until golden brown and grind it to a smooth paste. Add this to the curry and let it boil. check the salt. Once everything is mixed well, switch off the flame and do the seasoning.
  4. Serve hot with rice
