  1. Prepare 3 Boneless Ribeye or NY strip, cut into thin 1 inch strips
  2. Get 1 tbsp Season Salt
  3. Prepare 1 tbsp Fresh Black pepper
  4. Prepare 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  5. Get 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
  6. Prepare 10 slice Velveta cheese, cut it of the brick or Use Cheez Whiz
  7. Prepare 2 large Yellow onion, sliced
  8. Get 3 large Green bell pepper, julienned
  9. Take 6 French rolls, split lengthwise

Philly steak sandwiches are easy to make at home and rival the best philly cheesesteaks in Philadelphia! Cook the chip steak in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir while cooking to make sure the meat cooks on all sides. Divide steak and veggies over buns, add another slice of divided cheese.

Steps to make Nessa's Philly Cheese Steak:
  1. Place Ribeye in a large bowl. Coat with vegetable oil. In a small bowl, mix together seasoning - season salt, black pepper and garlic powder. Rub all over beef.
  2. Let the Ribeye marinate while chopping/slicing your onions and green bell peppers. Put into small bowl and coat with oil and seasoning.
  3. Heat Sauté pan or Skillet on High. Sear meat on all sides. Cook for a minute per side. Once done, let the meat rest until cool to touch. Cut thin slices. It should be med/rare.
  4. Reduce heat to Med and throw in the onions and green bell peppers. Sauté until onions are translucent and green bell peppers are soft.
  5. Preheat oven on Broiler setting. Divide the meat between the rolls, layer with onion and green pepper, then top with sliced velveta cheese or Pour on Cheez Whiz. Place on cookie sheet, and broil until cheese is melted.

  7. Optional Topping: Add Chicago Hot Giardiniera or Mayo

Stir while cooking to make sure the meat cooks on all sides. Divide steak and veggies over buns, add another slice of divided cheese. Lay on foil lined cookie sheet (keep top bun to the side so that it broils also) Broil just until cheese melts, remove from broiler, cover with top half of bun.
